BALE FOR HAZARD SWAP?
It's a balls-out claim from Antony Kastrinakis in The Sun. And yes, we did shiver a little at writing the words 'balls' and 'out' so close to his name. This is it: 'REAL MADRID could offer Gareth Bale to Chelsea in a straight swap for Eden Hazard.'

Immediately our cynical eyes are drawn to the word 'could'. Well of course they 'could'. They 'could' do practically anything at all. Kastrinakis does not even remotely suggest that Chelsea have any interest in Bale, but does claim that 'Real are determined to make Player of the Year Hazard a Galactico this summer'. Basically he has added 2+2 and made something close to 427.


CITY TO MOVE FOR WILSHERE?
'MANCHESTER CITY are ready to ignore Arsene Wenger's warning and launch a £30million bid for Jack Wilshere,' claims the back page of the Daily Mirror, who say that City's summer overhaul and quest for homegrown players will see them pull up outside the Emirates with a big bag of money (it will probably be a BACS transfer but that's not quite so evocative).

That will test Arsenal's resolve, with Arsene Wenger saying recently: "We are not in a position where we have to sell our best players." Altogether now: But what about Jack Wilshere?


GUNNERS GO FOR PEDRO
Never mind selling players, Arsenal are in a position to start spending, with the Daily Express claiming that the Gunners will 'begin their summer bid to overhaul Chelsea' with a move for Barcelona winger Pedro. Arsene Wenger is said to be keen to 'add more creativity and pace to his attack this summer'.

Arsenal will not be Pedro's only suitors this summer, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Inter Milan also said to be keen on a player who has largely been restricted to the bench this season following the arrival of Luis Suarez.

Bizarrely, he would probably be available for around half the price of Raheem Sterling.
